A devious duo.

Slowing his breathing he allowed his energy to pour into his right palm as he raised it upward toward the brooding sky, soon a small coiling ball of pulsing red energy there. He closed his hand around it and lowered it to his eyes. Taking a second to marvel at its simple significance, he spun it slowly, lovingly caressing the area around the ball to make it rotate faster. Xav took much pride in the fine craftsmanship of his fireballs. He then tossed the ball high into the air and twisted on the spot, curling back with one leg and ripping the other forward from the other direction, the ball fell and then his boot slammed into it as his powerful motion brought his leg swiveling up and around in a wide arch. The kick sent it flying into the forest. He watched the ball go, until suddenly the balls energy rent the air with a fiery explosion that scorched the wind with its ravenous heat, tousling his hair slightly as he turned his back on the now blazing stand of pines. “My power is growing...more and more everyday.” He brushed off his vest and sighed slicking his black hair back into conformity. Suddenly the air to his right gave a strange shiver and a dark shadow there began to ripple oddly, movement where reality allowed none. Slowly, like an object emerging from a mirrored surface, the outline of a large black cat prowled forth. He crooned lovingly and crouched to pet the feline. “Good Natasha...where have you been?” The cat pawed close and nuzzled his hand affectionately. The cat's outline shifted and them morphed slowly into a woman on all fours, her body entirely cloaked in black except for her perfect oval face and stunning violet eyes. “Just off having some fun with a few soldiers~” She purred in her usual fashion. He raised an eyebrow and chuckled affectionately caressing her catlike ears which always refused to morph along with her body. Xav was sure she did this on purpose. Standing slowly he grinned grimly and licked his pale lips. Surveying the blazing forest all around. “Shall we be off?"
He asked curtly, a playful smirk dancing on his face along with the light from the fires. "I'd rather not linger here if you have been toying with the humans..they get so easily upset..” Natasha licked her palm for a second then stood upright. “I suppose it would be folly to linger where the dead sleep and the fire sweeps. Yes I do think we should be off.." She drew close to Xav and gave him a kiss on the cheek before she morphed into a very small black kitten, which Xav crouched down and picked up, slipping her into one of his pockets. "Is walking really all that hard?~" A tiny hiss came from his pocket, muffled by fabric. "Just kidding Natasha, take a nap..we will be home in an hour or two." His pocket purring, Xav started up the grassy hill out of the hidden forest groove. His boots disturbing the fine layer of fresh dew on the tall grass.
